Testimonials

"Teri has helped me zoom through levels 1 and 2 and we're beginning the journey into level 3. She's been patient, consistent, engaging and has answered my questions in a way that I could understand with my level of skills. I look forward to continuing my journey with Teri there for support and guidance." --Tia Jones from Colorado, Level 3 student.

I have worked with other instructors before, but never found the answers I was looking for. I now attend Teri's small focus groups… She has been an outstanding instructor who has allowed this journey to be my own. Her patient, kind methods make learning a fun journey almost like a kid in the candy store. Every taste of information she helps me to understand has sweet rewards. I find myself fascinated not only by what I am learning with my horse, but also with Teri's presentation of your material...--Jamie Weigel, CO Level 3 student

(Since the Imagination Inspiration class my horse) is asking more questions, he doesn't seem bored.  I have found since I have been more energetic and creative on line, my liberty is better, how interesting…You have helped me to be a more confident leader for my horse, helping me work through the bucking issues we had and in a way that was relaxed and non-threatening to my horse.  I have become a better leader and horse reader … I love how there is no end to the possibilities of creativity and environments a person can play with their horses.  Just last week I was able to ride down the trail with my dogs, and my horse was confident, ears forward, relaxed and curious about what the dogs were doing.  I attribute that to creative play in lots of environments with dogs, other horses etc.  So....a big thank you.--Susie Hosey, CO Level 2 student

I'm sure there was more you might have liked to cover during the seminar, but I wanted you to know that I feel I got more out of the clinic than I paid for!--Linda Ray, MI Level 2 student

Thank you for taking Jewel on as a young colt to be trained. Thank you for all the heart and soul you put into every training lesson.--Grace Bluhm, WI Level 3 student

Just wanted to tell you what a help and inspiration the (horseless) playshops have been so far .... yesterday I had even more proof.  I think I've mentioned that my most difficult game with Count is the circle game.  He either breaks out of the trot or canter or goes right brained on me when I try to correct him.

I had realized during some of the previous (horseless) playshops that I thought I might be YELLING at him.  Yesterday, I decided to work on sideways isolations and was working on my 12' line instead of the 22'    After a few very good tries I thought I'd change up the game and asked for circle game up into trot and then canter.  At first, Count seemed to be over-reacting to my "asks" so I decided to just try a small POINT with my finger when I wanted the upward transitions.  OMG what a difference!!!  Instead of getting this out of control explosion and trying to pull backwards, I got several beautiful upward relaxed transitions to canter.

I guess it FINALLY sunk into MY brain to be softer  with him.  He really is very sensitive and doesn't need more than a very quiet Phase I .

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!--Rosemary Prawdzik, CO Level 2 Student

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of and love for horses with us. You have brought me closer to my dream….I will keep your instructions in my memory throughout our journey.--Karen Ulven, WI Level 2 student

…there was a KIDS PNH clinic about 3 hrs away. Teri Sprague was the teacher and she was absolutely, positively phenomenal with the kids. They ranged from 7 to about 15 yrs old. Those kids went through the 7 games and got ready to ride (preflight tests/games) in only 8 hours of instruction over 2 days.--Bridget Rodgers, MI Level 2 student

I’m not sure if my horses or I thank you more, but together we are headed for great things.--Sheri Roberson, WI Level 2 student

We just want you to know that Teri is really an exceptional teacher. We worked our way through the new Level 1 booklets and DVDs before going to her clinic, and we were so impressed by Linda, Pat, and Stephanie's teaching that we expected to be a little let down working with someone else! Teri not only didn't let us down, she really excelled. The courses were clear, compelling, fun, kind, and educational in the best sense. The most amazing thing is how generous she is with her time. She was consistently willing to help people, give coaching, and stay around long after classes were supposed to end, just to help. She is a real asset to your organization, your brand, and your philosophy.--Scott Peppet and Kelly Zell, CO Level 2 students

I just finished the Beginning Partnership and Advanced Partnership Clinics with Teri Sprague and experienced some of the best teaching I have experienced in my 60 years. Coming from the field of Education and Social Work Education, I have experienced a lot of teachers and have been one myself. Teri not only understands how horses learn but also how people learn. She approaches the tasks with calmness, support, and incredible knowledge. She was able to help me feel the seven games in addition to just looking at them. She also helped me to understand what my horse might be feeling…In addition, her teaching style challenged me to go further than I thought I could possibly go with my horse. I now know how much I don't know and I want to learn more. Thank your for the Parelli Program and especially the skill and expertise of Teri Sprague.--Eleanor Nay-Chiles, CO Level 2 student

Teri was patient, calm, thorough, extremely knowledgeable and intuitive to all our concerns. Yet Teri is also an exacting task master! And we sincerely appreciated that too!!--Alana Plock, MI Level 3 student

I was talking to my son last night.  I told him how absolutely amazing I've found these last two weeks to be and the progress Dream has made overcoming his "issues”… I truly feel blessed that I've been able to work with you and watch you work.  You were right, Dream needs level 3...already he seems to be at a new emotionally fit level.--Donna Hodous, WI Level 3 student

The information you so clearly presented has made a lasting impression on me… We have now gotten thru all of the 7 games-finally. I am not fumbling as much as I was because you clarified things I either didn't know I was doing, or I didn't know how to do. I now have new techniques and strategies to use. This would have taken much longer without your being available.--Susanna King, MI Level 1 student
